This set of Suchana learning papers brings together practical lessons from Bangladesh on adolescent empowerment, nutrition-sensitive and climate-smart aquaculture and fisheries, nutrition-sensitive horticulture, and nutrition governance at national and subnational levels. Drawing on programme experience from Sylhet and Moulvibazar, the papers show how Suchana combined nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions with government collaboration, gender-transformative approaches, social and behaviour change, skills development, market engagement and climate resilience measures. Together, they highlight how integrated programming can improve dietary practices, strengthen livelihoods, empower adolescent girls and women, support service delivery systems, and build resilience in flood-prone contexts.
The collection is intended to inform government, development partners and practitioners seeking evidence and operational learning on reducing chronic undernutrition through multisectoral approaches in Bangladesh.
