Perilous Passages – Migration, Mobility and Child Protection Issues in Malda, West Bengal

Research centred on intervention for the category of children at risk of becoming the victims of trafficking in Malda, West Bengal, and the factors that expose a child to the high risk of trafficking in human beings. Building the capacities of local organisations working on trafficking in children and related child protection issues seems to be one of the first action points to address the situation. Trainings delve into issues relating to child trafficking/migration/mobility, prevention of trafficking, rescue of trafficked persons, post-rescue care and the overall rehabilitation and reintegration process.
