The San Diego Hunger Coalition (SDHC) used funding from Save the Children’s Innovation Lab to train local leaders from a low-income, rural community along the U.S.-Mexico Border with close ties to families in need. In turn, these local community “Navigators” shared information about food pantries and food security programming with their networks.
