Barn och ungas politiska villkor

The report, produced within the framework of Arvfonden’s project Dittval is driven by the Association of Swedish Student Councils – SVEA, a union for student councils which works with national representative student bodies focusing on school democracy and pupils’ participation. ‘Barn och ungas politiska villkor’ (The political participation of children and youth) is committed to embedding the values of the UNCRC and seeks to help create a political climate where children and young people are seen as important political actors taking an active part in the democratic process. It provides recommendations for steps to be taken by government and civil society to ensure the political participation of children and youth, an area that requires further investigation.
