Save the Children

In Latin American and the Caribbean, as in other regions of the world, Save the Children and a wide variety of partners have developed different experiences around child rights governance (CRG). Save the Children wants to be an organization that learns from its own practices and those of others in order to improve its actions in favour of children.

This publication is a product of that aim. It is the result of the collective production of the CRG focal points in Latin America and of the ingenuity of partner organizations, allies and groups of children from Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and the Dominican Republic. This document includes a range of specific CRG-related experiences that Save the Children has supported in the region in the last two years. They are diverse experiences whose common denominator is the search for sustainable, long-term responses.
