“Overview of current frameworks for systems strengthening” presents strategic actions on how to strengthen national child protection systems in sub-Saharan Africa, and to better understand how these formal systems actually function in practice. The presentation was delivered in the context of the Consultation Meeting on Strengthening National Child Protection Systems in sub-Saharan Africa, held in Nairobi, 28–30 September 2011, an event organised by the Regional Child Protection Systems Working Group for West, Central, Eastern and Southern Africa, which includes Plan International, Save the Children International, and UNICEF.
