With more and more children around the world playing online games, it is important to ensure that the gaming environment is a healthy and positive experience for every child. 

The aim of this paper is to investigate how child rights may be impacted by online gaming as well as to assist gaming companies to incorporate a child rights perspective into the way they conduct their business.
