Changing climate, Changing disasters: Pathways towards integration

A guide from the Strengthening Climate Resilience consortium (IDS, Plan and Christian Aid), focusing on a Climate Smart Disaster Risk Management (CSDRM) approach that offers different ‘routes’ to integration (and indicators to track progress) for agencies that work on disaster preparation and response. It includes a full set of process indicators for each component and suggested integration pathways in an easy to use ‘tabbed format’. It also shares learning from two contextualisation processes: in a conflict affected area in Sudan and with children in the Philippines. It concludes by sharing lessons from partners who have used the approach to help plan future programmes and strategies or to review and assess exsiting policy and programmes.
