Back to basics
Save the Children Sweden has made education one of its priorities and based on their experience and on the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, they have developed advocacy programmes to enhance quality and inclusive education, knowledge on rights and student influence. This overview examines 10 European countries' reports to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, together with alternative contributions from non-governmental organisations. This study was made in the hope of identifying national and regional trends worth addressing to promote the rights of all children to education and their fulfilment in Europe.
