Tool 3: How to Develop Effective Public Budget Advocacy Strategies and Plans

This is the third tool in the How to Analyze, Track and Influence Public Budgets for Children’s Rights Guidance series. It focuses on translating the findings of child rights budget analysis into effective advocacy to influence public budgets and strengthen accountability for children’s rights. This tool supports civil society organizations in developing evidence-based advocacy strategies, engaging decision-makers, mobilizing stakeholders, and promoting increased and more equitable investment in children. It builds on the concepts and methodologies introduced in Tools 1 and 2, helping users transform budget analysis into meaningful policy and budget change.
