Save the Children Bangladesh
This resource is a collection of 6 success stories from the Suchana programme in Bangladesh. Together, the factsheets present key components of Suchana’s multisectoral approach to reducing chronic undernutrition among children under two in poor and very poor households in Sylhet and Moulvibazar. They cover interventions and learning across homestead food production, poultry, aquaculture and fisheries, growth monitoring and promotion, counselling, adolescent interventions, social protection advocacy, village savings and loan associations, income generating activities, market system strengthening, the graduation approach, and climate resilience technology. As a set, the factsheets provide a concise overview of how Suchana linked nutrition, livelihoods, behaviour change, women’s empowerment and resilience within one integrated programme.
