Remote Assessment of Learning (ReAL) Toolkit

ReAL is a toolkit for assessing children’s literacy, numeracy, and social and emotional learning outcomes remotely. This tool is for remote use where enumerators can’t assess children in person. It can be administered by smartphone or regular mobile, depending on the context.

The High Access administration guidance has been revised based on results from a cross-country validation study in six countries: Cambodia, Mozambique, Niger, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Philippines, and Sudan. The psychometric results of these validation studies can be found in the technical report.
