Realizing Intergenerational Justice for Children and Future Generations

This brief presents a basic policy framework in support of Save the Children’s priorities for Chapter 4 of the Pact for the Future: “Youth and Future Generations” and the Declaration on Future Generations. It was published on 30th April 2024 in order to support discussions at the UN Civil Society Conference to be held in Nairobi, Kenya 9-10 May 2024. The policy framework will form the basis of a more comprehensive position paper to be published around the Summit of the Future in September 2024 to support translation of commitments into practical policy measures and ensure accountability to children.
