Save the Children Côte d'Ivoire
The Accountability Day organized by Save the Children Côte d’Ivoire in 2025 was a unique space for dialogue, bringing together more than 50 participants from the government, civil society, local and international NGOs, technical and financial partners, universities, as well as children and young people themselves.
Beyond presenting the results achieved in 2024 (more than 2 million direct beneficiaries reached), the event opened a transparent and constructive dialogue on emerging challenges that still hinder the realization of children’s rights in Côte d’Ivoire.
The discussions highlighted five priority issues:
Strong recommendations emerged: adoption of laws guaranteeing children’s participation, creation of inter-ministerial coordination platforms, investment in inclusive education and digital tools, and strengthening budget transparency.
This day marks a turning point: it commits Save the Children and its partners to continue the accountability dynamic and transform these commitments into concrete and measurable actions for the benefit of every child in Côte d’Ivoire.
