A 13-page presentation by Child Frontiers that is part of the preparations for and follow up to the Expert Consultation on Strengthening National Child Protection Systems in Sub-Saharan Africa, held in Nairobi, 28th-30th September 2011. The event was organised by the Regional Child Protection Systems Working Group for West, Central, Eastern and Southern Africa, which includes Plan International, Save the Children International, and UNICEF. The presentation provides the findings and insights generated through the mapping and assessment of national child protection systems in Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra, Leone, Senegal, Niger and Ghana, and addresses the relations and linkages across formal and non-formal institutions and services.
