Experiences on Child Rights Governance in Latin America and the Caribbean (2016-2017)

Child Rights Governance programs and action in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) – under a Child Rights focus and our Theory of Change – are committed to supporting the three breakthroughs Save the Children has proposed for 2030:

2. To Learn

3. Be Protected

The 10 diverse experiences from LAC countries presented in this brief reinforce and contribute directly to children’s enjoyment and exercise of their rights.  The brief includes a range of specific CRG-related experiences that Save the Children has supported in the region over the last two years. They are diverse experiences whose common denominator is the search for sustainable, long-term solutions to problems facing children in the region.

Desde los programas y acciones de CRG en LAC –bajo el enfoque en derechos de la niñez y nuestra Teoría de Cambio-, estamos comprometidos con los tres breakthroughs que Save the Children se ha propuesto hacia el año 2030: Sobrevivir – Aprender – Estar protegidos. No es de extrañar entonces que de las 10 diversas experiencias que aquí se presentan, todas sin excepción refuercen la voluntad de la organización de contribuir de manera directa al disfrute y ejercicio por niñas y niños de sus derechos.
