Save the Children Nicaragua
In Latin America and the Caribbean, as in other regions of the world, Save the Children and a broad spectrum of partners have developed different experiences about how governance can be organized in such a way that it promotes, respects and fulfills children’s rights. Save the Children aims to learn from its own practices and those of others, to improve its actions that favor children.
This publication is a product of that goal. Since 2013, we have been producing collective reports on CRG in LAC, and this is no exception. This report is the result of a collective effort by CRG focal points in LAC, and the ingenuity of partner organizations, allies, and groups of children and adolescents from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. This document includes an overview of some concrete experiences related to CRG that Save the Children has supported during 2017 and 2018. They are diverse experiences with one common denominator: the search for sustainable and long-term solutions to the problems facing children in the region.
