This endline evaluation examines the performance and impact of the project “Strengthening and Expanding Community Protection Mechanisms and Resilience to Support the Well-Being of Vulnerable Children and Wider Populations Affected by the Rohingya Crisis”, implemented in Cox’s Bazar by Save the Children with funding from SC Korea. Since the 2017 Rohingya influx, host and refugee communities have faced heightened child protection risks, livelihood insecurity, and social stress. Using a mixed-methods approach, the evaluation assessed relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact through quantitative interviews with 735 respondents and qualitative methods including FGDs, KIIs, IDIs, and case studies. Findings indicate substantial improvements in child protection, education access, community safety, and household resilience. Child marriage and child labour declined significantly, awareness of child rights increased, and income-generating support enabled families to prioritize children’s well-being. While community ownership and sustainability prospects are promising, continued engagement and resources are required to sustain gains, particularly within host communities.
