This report shares the findings and recommendations of the Cost of the Diet (CotD) assessment conducted in the Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts of Bangladesh in 2022. In addition, it also shares earnings and finding from three rounds of CotD assessment between 2018 and 2022. The CotD studies were conducted to estimate the potential contribution of DFID & EU funded Suchana programme interventions on household food affordability. In addition, this analysis aimed to assess the degree to which economic constraints affected the impoverished households in the Sylhet division in North-East Bangladesh (i.e. Suchana beneficiary households in Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts) from accessing a nutritious diet.
