Undertaken with the aim of communicating children’s views at the Day of General Discussion on children’s rights in the digital age, which took place on 12 September 2014, this project was a joint effort between the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre (CRC), the Institute for Culture and Society at the University of Western Sydney, the Berkman Centre for Internet and Society at Harvard University, and UNICEF, in partnership with the Digitally Connected Network.

The study uncovered information about children’s use of digital media, their understanding of consequences of activities they participated in online, as well as their concept of their safety on digital media.
