A Qualitative Pre- & Post-assessment Study of a Parenting Programme linked to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Programme (4Ps) in Region 8, the Philippines

The Child Sensitive Social Protection (CSSP) project is a Save the Children initiative in the Philippines, focused on making the social protection scheme Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Programme (4Ps) deliver more for children.

In 2018, Save the Children introduced a parenting programme, with a specific emphasis on enhancing parenting skills and promoting better parent-child relationships. This report describes the impact of this programme both on parenting skills, as envisioned by the International Child Development Programme (ICDP,) and the relationship between parents and children.
