The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on societies all over the world. As an effort to stop the spread of the disease, schools have closed, impacting approximately 91 percent of the world’s enrolled students. Authorities and education stakeholders have responded swiftly to the situation, using various digital delivery channels in order to ensure continued learning.
This brief is built on data on access technology from household surveys and explores the potential promising practices for equitable remote learning.
