Medios de comunicación y protección de la infancia en contexto de crisis humanitaria

The main objective of this study is to promote responsible media coverage in the context of child protection in humanitarian emergencies. Far too often the media does not address the root causes of the conflict or emergency situation that has been declared, treating the topic in a superficial manner and choosing to highlight the tragic and sensational result of the incident, a contributing factor in increasing children’s vulnerability.
