This publication highlights the necessity for greater consideration of education for all as part of the post-2015 development agenda. Although enrolment rates have climbed, progress in access to education has slowed. Access to education remains unequal. More investments are needed, as well as a different approach that ensures both access to education as well as the quality of the education.
In addition to examining the wide-reaching impact of education on economic and social wellbeing, this publication also explores the current barriers to education and ways to address these challenges.
