HIV and Conflict: A double emergency

In this report, Save the Children calls upon governments, donors and humanitarian agencies to uphold children's rights and channel resources into preventing the 'double emergency' of HIV/AIDS and armed conflict. In the decade ahead, HIV/AIDS is expected to kill ten times more people than conflict. Direct experience has been gathered from refugee crises in Angola, Burundi, Colombia, Liberia, Nepal, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Southern Sudan, Sri Lanka and Uganda.
