COVID-19 and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls

There is emerging evidence that the COVID-19 pandemic will have impact on violence against women and girls.It is expected, without intervention, that the prevalence of violence will increase.

This briefing puts forth recommendations for consideration by all sectors of society, from governments to international organizations and to civil society organizations in order to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls.
