The purpose of this review is to highlight the effects of the influence and activities of SCS and its partners on governments’ implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and to identify what has worked in order to strengthen good practice in the future. The countries included in this review are Bangladesh, Lebanon, Peru, South Africa, Sudan and Sweden, and the period covered is from 2006 to present day.The target groups for this review are, in particular, the board of SCS, the national and international departments at the SCS head office, field offices and their partners. The review may also be utilised by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and other actors with an interest in mechanisms for the implementation of children’s rights.
