In collaboration with the International Labor Organization, Puskapa, the Center on Child Protection at the University of Indonesia, which is a CPC affiliate institution, conducted this 2013 study to better understand child domestic workers and their situation in Indonesia. This report, using information from Indonesia’s National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) and National Labor Survey (SAKERNAS), provides insights about the characteristics of child domestic workers, the push and pull factors that create their working conditions, information about their working situations, and profiles of their employers.
