Save the Children Peru
Peru is the first country in the Americas to carry out the Young Voices survey, which looks at young people’s responses to issues such as security, participation, life at school, internet security, etc.
Originally developed in Sweden, Young Voices has spread across the world and has been carried out in many countries. The Young Voices Peru survey was carried out between July and September of 2017, with a total of 2,617 respondents between the ages of 12 and 17.
This report presents some of the outcomes of the survey, results that show how young adults feel about issues that concern them. These responses can then be used to influence and change the traditional outlook and forms with which adults and authorities consider policies and strategies that impact children.
