In Europe, 1 out of 4 victims of human trafficking is a minor. Between 2015 and 2016 there were 20,500 registered victims of trafficking, 56% of which were trafficked for sexual exploitation. 

In Italy, the number of trafficked victims is 1,660, and there is a constantly increasing number of minors involved. Given the gravity of the issue, this report tries to give the reader a complete and updated picture of the phenomenon of trafficking and the sexual exploitation of minors in Italy.
