Save the Children South Africa
In 2016, Save the Children South Africa reached 66,826 children and 83,437 people overall. They responded swiftly and meaningfully to the drought and flooding emergencies in the Free State and Gauteng, offering, hopefully, a buffer against suffering experienced by families by opening doors to shelter them at Early Childhood Care and Development center in Setswetla.
This annual report shares insights on Save the Children South Africa’s work during 2016, including key achievements and challenges.
