This 2020 report summarizes the baseline findings of USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project’s (MNCSP) project in Bangladesh’s household survey conducted in ten MaMoni intervention districts. The household survey collected information on utilization of key maternal and newborn care (MNC) practices, access to maternal and newborn health (MNH) services, and background and household characteristics of women. The survey provided the baseline-level coverage of maternal and newborn health indicators and identified the low-performing districts that needed special attention by the project for improvement.
