Final project report for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project (MaMoni MNCSP), which was designed to contribute to the Health, Population and Nutrition Sector Program (HPNSP 2017-2022) goals of reducing maternal and neonatal deaths by increasing equitable utilization of quality maternal and newborn care services in Bangladesh. MaMoni MNCSP, implemented by Save the Children and its consortium partners, supported the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW) to improve the utilization of quality maternal and newborn services in 17 districts and one island upazila, as well as supported the MOH&FW to scale up proven maternal and newborn health (MNH) interventions in non-MaMoni supported districts. The project also provided limited support to a few private health facilities, and directly benefited the district and upazila health management and public sector facilities, reaching approximately 36 million people in project intervention areas.
