The following report represents the external evaluation conducted on the implemented EI / EIDHR project: Unlocking the Pot of Resources of Children’s Rights in Albania. The project has lasted for 24 months, and has been implemented in collaboration with the State Agency for the Protection of Children’s Rights. The project aimed at contributing to the protection of children’s rights in Albania through the increase of public investment for the realization of their rights. More specifically the objective of the respective project was to strengthen Civil Society Organization (CSOs) and Child-led Groups (CLGs) to actively engaged in influencing budget planning and monitoring of expenditures for children.
The objectives of the external evaluation process are to evaluate the achievement of overall aims and objectives, evaluate if all partners worked toward the aims and objectives of the project; assess the monitoring tools and documentation of the impact / project files; assess which were the most useful and the least useful aspects of the project; evaluate the level of involvement of project actors, stakeholders, CSOs, CLGs and their level of satisfaction with implemented activities; evaluate the level of outreach of the target groups and their level of satisfaction; best practices and lessons learned that can be derived from this project.
