Understanding Child Safeguarding: A facilitators guide

This guide is intended for anyone responsible for delivering learning events or facilitating workshops on child safeguarding. It will aid in planning and facilitating workshops for staff and associates who have little understanding of child abuse and what their responsibilities are to safeguard children.

The guide is divided into four sessions, each is accompanied by exercises that help participants actively and constructively learn about the topic:

• Session 2: Understanding child abuse
• Session 3: Understanding child safeguarding
• Session 4: Recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns and abuse
