About the topic
Save the Children has a zero tolerance towards the abuse and exploitation of children by any of the organisation’s representatives, including all Save the Children staff and partner organisations. In addition, the organisation is equally committed to doing everything within its power to avoid unintended harm or accidents to children as a result of any of the activities.
This is outlined within Save the Children’s Child Safeguarding Policy. In support of this policy, Save the Children has developed a set of standards, procedures, guidance and tools. This is a comprehensive range of materials which are itemized and available on the Resource Centre. Keeping children safe is fundamental to our work in achieving the rights of children.
