The rate at which the double burden of malnutrition is unfolding has limited evidence. Through analyzing 102 demographic and health Surveys from 35 countries in sub-Saharan Africa between 1993 and 2017, this study quantifies trends and inequalities and nutritional status of concerning adolescent girls and adult women in sub-Saharan Africa.
