This study analyzes the socioeconomic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in 35 developing countries and studies trends between three household sizes:

  • Households with three or more children
  • Households with 1 or 2 children
  • Households with no children

It finds that households with more children are more likely to suffer income loss, suffer food insecurity, receive social assistance and miss out on education.
