The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action
The Technical Note on the Protection of Children during the Coronavirus Pandemic provides concrete guidance for frontline humanitarian workers, policymakers and donors on designing and adapting child protection responses in COVID 19 and also highlights key actions for multi-sectoral integrated approaches with health, WASH, education and other sectoral colleagues. The note builds on guidance from the 2019 Child Protection Minimum Standards and lessons learned from previous outbreaks. It also adapts guidance from the Alliance’s Guidance Note on Protection of Children during Infectious Disease Outbreaks. (Alliance, 2018)
