Taking Better Care? Review of a decade of work with orphans and vulnerable children in Rakai, Uganda

‘Taking Better Care?’ revisits a care project for vulnerable children in Uganda seven years after Save the Children handed it over to local agencies and the community. It looks at whether the benefits that were documented at the end of the project have lasting effects and whether this model of community-based social care and protection is sustainable.
