Sylhet Flash Floods 2022: Preliminary impact & needs assessment report

The devastating impact of the May 2022 flash floods affected more than 60% of the working areas ofthe Suchana programme in Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts of Sylhet division in Bangladesh. A rapid needs assessment was conducted in the affected working areas of Suchana based on the Preliminary Impact and Needs Assessment Checklist tool developed by the Needs Assessment Working Group (NAWG) Bangladesh from May 17-20, 2022. This report is based on the findings of the assessment to inform resource mobilisation.
