This report is a summary of the discussions and contributions from a half-day event in Oslo on March 25th, 2025. Nordic Leadership in Global Health: A Strategic Symposium gathered 100 Nordic participants ranging from political leadership, bureaucracy, civil society and academia to discuss how Nordic countries can address global health challenges, particularly in three areas: Sexual and reproductive health and rights, immunization and health security, and antimicrobiel resistance.
The report also includes a brief overview of some of the ongoing global health challenges that formed the backdrop for the symposium.
