Still left behind? Growing up as a child with a disability in Somalia: Disability inclusion: stakeholder, perception, and implementation of Save the Children’s projects in Somalia

This analysis looks into the implementation process of disability inclusion in Somalia, where disability prevalence is thought to be higher than the global average. The research specifically considers stakeholders’ roles and perceptions of working towards disability inclusive programming, based on a literature review, semi-structured interviews, and a stake-holder analysis. The report brings some of the main organisational and social barriers and challenges to light, and concludes with a series of recommendation on how these can be addressed.
