Sri Lanka Localisation and Partnership Roadmap: 2025-2027

The Sri Lanka Localisation and Partnership Roadmap (2025-2027) outlines Save the Children Sri Lanka’s strategic approach to advancing localisation and partnership. The roadmap emphasizes locally led actions and sustainable partnerships to drive impactful changes in child rights. It is structured around five key pillars:

1. Good Partnership Practice: Establishing guidelines and standards for effective partnerships, focusing on harmonized practices and strategic collaborations.
2. Quality, Structured Capacity Strengthening: Developing a framework for capacity strengthening, mapping CSO providers, and investing in internal skills to support diverse local actors.
3. Niche Roles and Initiatives: Piloting initiatives like the Humanitarian Partnership Platform to enhance local actors’ roles in humanitarian response and developing technical offers for various local and national actors.
4. Localisation and Systems Strengthening: Creating tools and strategies for system strengthening, supporting CSO engagement with government, and building resilient local systems.
5. Child, Adolescent, and Youth Participation: Establishing advisory groups, enhancing internal capacities, and fostering youth-led actions to ensure meaningful participation in governance and advocacy.

The roadmap integrates these pillars into annual implementation plans, ensuring accountability and progress tracking. It aims to elevate the roles of local and national actors, including children and youth, in driving systemic changes and realizing child rights in Sri Lanka.
