Sponsorship Programs contribute to Save the Children’s vision of a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. In 2019 Sponsorship administered $53 million of lifeenhancing programs that directly affected the lives of 2,571,858 children and adults in 21 countries, including the United States. In addition, the Sponsorship Refugee Program served the growing refugee populations in Cairo and Uganda. Sponsorship continues to invest in quality implementation and innovation to deliver programs and measurable results that contribute to the Save the Children Theory of Change.
