The Child-Friendly Space is one of Save the Children’s emergency interventions, which provides children with a protected environment where they can participate in activities, socialize and feel safe.

This manual provides guidance to Save the Children staff and operational emergency response personnel for the rapid implementation of adequate Child-Friendly Spaces during and immediately after an emergency such as a natural disaster or a situation of armed conflict.
