So You Want to Involve Children in Research? A toolkit supporting children’s meaningful and ethical participation in research relating to violence against children

When asked, children worldwide identify violence against them as a priority issue. “So you want to involve children in research?” is a toolkit supporting children´s meaningful and ethical participation in research relating to violence against children. The toolkit includes studies on effective participative research from around the world, promoting research that sees children as active agents in their own lives, not passive victims or research subjects. It also explains why child participation in the UN Study on Violence against Children is important, and how to involve children in secondary research and why it is important.
