Shifting Power in Aid – How Christian Aid is contributing to locally led development: Progress 2023/24

Recent efforts to shift power to partners and support the voice and agency of communities affected by poverty have been given fresh impetus by debates in the aid sector about localisation, decolonisation, and locally led development.
This report highlights key actions and achievements by Christian Aid in 2023/24 in shifting power to partners, for example, by prioritising equitable funding, ensuring partners are leading decision-making in programming, and advocating in the sector for more locally-led programming.
