In 2015, Save the Children South Africa reached more than 65,000 children directly and in total almost 80,000 people, through working with partners in communities, schools, Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs and municipalities. In addition to this, their efforts are estimated to have impacted over 1.5 million people indirectly, through activities in raising awareness of issues affecting children in South Africa and through systemic partnership involvements in schools and communities.
This report shares insights on Save the Children South Africa’s work in 2015, including key achievements and challenges.
