Revitalizing Newborn and Child Survival: Annual report 2009

Every child has the right to life. Yet each year millions of young children and newborn babies die needlessly from conditions that are easily preventable and treatable. Save the Children has a vision of a world where no young child dies from preventable causes and where people will not tolerate a return to high levels of child deaths. The organisaiton is building a global campaign, the Newborn and Child Survival Campaign, to ensure the world keeps its promise and saves millions of children’s lives.
